A day away from the mud and rain, this ride was 50km of riding the ´black stuff´ at a laidback pace. There were quiet rolling roads and interesting villages with a hint of sunshine making it all rather special in an ordinary sort of way.

We went past the Friedland Denkmal riding into a strong head wind all the way, ate our snacks overlooking much of the Gutingi Strade Bianche route and we got held up by a train of Audi´s.

Then we had the wind at our backs!!
