Presenting no obstacle to our free movement this future GÖ Gravel cycle tour crossed several active and defunct borders.

In the past you would have required the correct paperwork to cross the humblest frontier. We had our Gö Gravel Visa´s and no one dared to hinder Craig and I on our way.

We rode as much as we could as the crow flies to head out to two of the highlights of this tour.  The sun burned hard making it a tougher ride than it needed to be, exposed climbs were very hard!

Highlights – By hugging the Dreilanderstein you can be in three German states at one time and at Kirchgandern we rode a stretch of Kolonnenweg, the old military road that ran the length of the Iron Curtain in Germany.

In addition, there are 30 gravel sectors and 3 of Kopfsteinpflaster to pedal.
