The Gö Feldweg Omloop without the gravel and cobbled sectors – riding the asphalt farmers roads, cycle paths and public roads.
We start and finish at Geismar and visit Sieboldhausen six times! You might get a bit dizzy as you switch back and forth.
Riding a local circuit, runde or in this case an omloop (Flemish word) can be useful especially when weather may force you to cut short your ride. You can also elect to ride one more lap or more if the mood suits you.
This version of the Gö Feldweg Omloop dispenses with the gravel, Betonweg and cobbles of all the other routes and instead we mix a minority of public roads open to all traffic, with cycle paths and asphalt feldweg. The latter on this ride are mostly in excellent conditions but can become very muddy when wet being farm roads and gravel/dirt can build up on corners.
