The idea was to ride just under 30km at a gentle pace as it was, we did a wee bit more at 45 kilometres because the sun was shining, we had our summer shoes and our wheels were rotating nicely and that´s how it goes sometimes.
We picnicked at Ludolfhausen church (1562) a type of building I had on my train set when I was much younger. The village itself is the smallest in the area (under 100 people), nonetheless the war memorial lists many people who did not survive World War One and Two.
The 3km smooth asphalt descent from Ludolfhausen into Groß Schneen is so cool with fast curves although I rode it slowly today.
