After a hard ride of 84kms on gravel the previous weekend I wanted a simple relaxed road tour.

The sky above me was rumbling with thunder and rain clouds hung overhead, but with no fixed route in my mind I was able to avoid the worst of the rain. When it encroached toward me, I pedalled away and somehow, I only got a bit damp.

I would stop and put on my raincoat, then I took it off, then back on until I gave up, luckily the rain stopped just as I was prepared to get wet because I wasn´t going to put my coat on again. It was also too warm for a coat!

The Ride
A cool 44km, riding cycle paths, betonweg and some asphalt public roads.
