Quiet roads, very few cars – no motor car hassles (one annoying BMW driver) and lots of people including children enjoying the fine weather. I must be in another country, wait, I am!
My UK feed is full of stuff about cyclists being slagged off for riding and there seems to be so much scolding going on within the cycling community, which I guess is because there seems to be a sense of panic developing there because of the fear of the Covid-19 pandemic. (My heart is breaking for London)
Today, I received so many smiles and waves from riders and walkers as I rode on roads I could only dream about when I lived in London. I have not seen a group ride for four weeks and people are out solo, in two´s or family groups only.
I love gravel riding, but a road ride is so cool. Today I took on some good hills and great descents where I cut apex after apex because I could see far up the road. I even ventured beyond the old Internal Grenz.
I also crossed the Gutingi Strade Bianche gravel route a number of times but kept off it because my Vittoria Corsa´s may have got upset.

Two local riders passed me as I took this picture, further up the road are two others – keeping well away from one another.
