Londoners Lesley and Andrew are visiting the Harz, and we showed them the white roads of Gö.
They gave me Turkish Delight and Monster Munch from the UK, and we bought them ice cream.

Historical Spinnerei Kuchen Omloop in Gö – July 20 2025
The warmth continues, damsons fall from the branch, and we get to eat cake at the Historical Spinnerei a reminder of the industrial heritage of the area.

We successfully dodged the rain that interloped into the valley, on what was a dull but still warm evening, but it did mean no ice cream, next week!

Not an Escape in Gö – July 10 2025
My ride is not an escape it is a tesserae in the mosaic that is my homeostasis, whether Hügel, Schotter, Kopfsteinpflaster, Steinstraße, or silky asphalt the terrain nudges my cerebral self by tapping into my subconscious.

Riding for Cake in Gö – July 5 2025
A mid-week summer cold when the temperature hit 39c was an inconvenience laying me low for a few days.
Thus, it was great to be riding today when I joined Sandra and Andrea for a run out and back for cake at Bisenhausen.
