Following the Sun in Gö – January 21 2025
It was cold but following the sun made for a relaxed ride over roads sans mud and ice!

Gö Gravel Ausfahrt– January 20 2025
The 14th Monday informal social ride of Herbst and winter, and with sunshine during the day a thaw is on-going we welcome the Schlammzeit.
In cold conditions we avoided the mucky, brown goo and when we emerged from the dark our bikes are speckled but not with two kilos of mud added!

Frozen in Gö – January 19 2025
A frozen frosted landscape lit by sunlight is a beautiful place to be, but the bitter cold is an ever-present reminder of the harshness of winter.
Now free of a winter bug extracted after a trip to the balmy hedonistic (naked) atmosphere of the public sauna I note that because of my PTSD and a wee bit of winter dark brooding thoughts I stopped cleaning my bike after each ride, but I did clean the drive train. Hooray me!

Gö Gravel Ausfahrt– January 6 2025
The 13th Monday informal social ride of Herbst and winter, a strong wind blew against us on the outward leg of the first Gö Gravel of the year but on the way back we sped along like cycling gods.
My PTSD was high over the festive season and I enjoyed the medicine of a dose of pedalling.
The ride featured Josh, Tim E, Tim H, Andrea, Felix T, Lena, Ann-Christin, Chris, Victoria, Max, and John.

New Year in Gö – January 1 2025
Passing by the detritus of spent batteries of artillery exploded to blast the Germans into the new year I rode into a fierce wind making what was meant to be a gentle ride just a wee bit harder!
I spent Christmas drinking bottles of Sekt, eating, socialising with many good people and so it was a nice change to be alone with my thoughts on my bike. I am so glad to be alive!
