Gö Feldweg Asphalt Omloop 53km

Feldweg Home

Niedernjesa/Sieboldhausen x6/Volkerode/Lemshausen/Dramfeld/Geismar

The Gö Feldweg Omloop without the gravel and cobbled sectors. On this tour we ride the asphalt farmers roads, cycle paths and, public roads.

We start and finish at Geismar and visit Sieboldhausen six times! You might get a bit dizzy as you switch back and forth.

Riding a local circuit, runde or in this case an omloop (Flemish word) can be useful especially when weather may force you to cut short your ride. You can also elect to ride one more lap or more if the mood suits you.

The asphalt feldweg on this omloop are mostly in excellent conditions but can become very muddy when wet being farm roads and gravel/dirt can build up on corners.

The total distance of the tour is 53.3km of which approximately 12.5km is ridden on public roads open to motor cars, the rest consists of asphalt field roads, and cycle paths.

Asphalt Feldweg/Cycle paths: 40.8km
Public roads open to cars: 12.5km

Climbs: 6, elevation 331 metres.

Gravel/Cobble categories (this is purely subjective & made up by us)

No gravel or cobbles

Please bear in mind that roads may at times be closed because of farm or forestry workings, please be considerate to all.

Many smooth asphalt or concrete field roads can be heavily compromised by detritous.
