What was once Cycleport.London is now Velo Klubhaus.com
Velo Klubhaus is an English language cycling website and just as life changes so should websites. When I thought about the future direction of my previous website Cyclesport.london I realised I wanted to refresh almost everything about it and the result is Velo Klubhaus.com.

Aren’t Websites Defunct?
A debate has raged for sometime now about whether traditional websites are dead made redundant by Social Media, but I think not. There is still a place for websites I believe because many of my favourite ones are thoughtful and say more than a post or a Tweet can and often in a better context. I hope this site is that.
A good cycle club house is more than a place for cyclists to meet and talk bicycles, reading through old London club histories it struck me that member’s often quite naturally stray off-topic sharing both cycling and non-cycling related stories, experiences and pictures.
You will find posts about cycling and things I come across in my life even if I am not pedalling at the time.
My path to this point
In my time in London I organised for 19 years the Beastway Mountain Bike series, helped run the London and South East Cyclo Cross League, contributed to the Crystal Palace Circuit Series, plus many other circuit, road and track events including the forming of the London Women’s Race League. I am a British Cycling national cyclo cross , a regional track and circuit commissaire. I have also edited and worked on commercial and community websites.
We have cycling friends in Germany and Velo Klubahus reflects this – friends such as Hungariana who live, cycle and sell wool there and they are kindred club mates. The same goes for fahrstil, they have produced English language versions of their magazine and they pedal in style.
You might note that I love cyclo cross and gravel riding!
