With time a little tight this day our ride with Gunnar Fehlau included more tarmac than normal, but it was good tarmac and mostly traffic free.
We rode between the Leine River and the B27 along the Leine Valley (and back). There were also a couple of awesome gravel descents.
From May we can stop on route to eat cake at Spinnerei, an old Spinnery full of ancient wool looms. The cakes and coffee are made by riding companion Andrea Hofling’s friend Uschi, so that’s a great bonus.
Postscript: With the GPS off on leaving Pressedienst-Fahrrad I rode a very steep hill to home, this hill was on my list of things I wanted to achieve. I had previously walked up it or passed by it and I always promised myself that one day I would ride it and I did! It must be the air!
