Forty Hall was infamous for its water splash! Brian Curtis, LCCA Champion for a number of times never raced here and when asked to identify the venue he said: “I have to admit that this one has got even me stumped (but I was 2 at the time) I can’t remember many cross courses with a water splash in them (now banned of course).”
